/p h3Purpose of the Job /h3 pInspection of part / product / train / installation and reporting of defects ensure product compliance (check after rework).
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 pThe Quality inspector ensures the compliance of products and parts delivered by the ALSTOM facilities.
He / She performs inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and on products during their manufacturing process.
He / She validates manufacturing control plans.
These control plans are written in close relationship with PME teams.
/p h3Accountabilities Authorities /h3 ul liPerform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework).
/li liRecords inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required.
/li liPerform destructive non-destructive examination when required and qualified.
/li liMaintain inspection records per component, assembly and vehicle.
/li liMaintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies and vehicles.
/li liParticipate in customer joint inspections.
/li liPreparation of approval and shipping documents.
/li liControl the correct calibration of critical equipment's and instrumentations used in the inspections.
/li liParticipation to the Problem solving process related to issues found during manufacturing activities /li liPerform/participate to product/process audit /li liPerform handover inspection to evaluate product quality at each stage prior to transfer the products to the next one /li /ul h3Performance Measurement /h3 ul liInspection method time adherence.
/li liDefect characterization.
/li liManagement of rework /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAssociates degree, technical major preferred.
/li liPrevious similar quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry.
/li liAwareness on processes and products delivered in the project.
/li liExperience in Quality / audit are appreciated.
/li liMust be able to read and search drawings (2D, 3D) / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment.
/li liGood knowledge of Office (Excel, Power Point) /li liQualified on special process of his/her scope of work /li liKnowledge of Quality standard (ISO****, IRIS, CMMI, ...) and quality tools, experience in Non Destructive Testing - is a plus /li liKnowledge on Problem solving process (8D, 5W.....), green belt qualification would be a plus /li liExperience in operational activities, in documentation management collaboration and team working.
/li liPredisposed to Team Work.
/li liGood skill communication skills inside and outside the team.
/li libItalian - fluent, English- is highly appreciated.
