/ppYour role Bring your specialist knowledge and experience to a company managing 50% of the world's MIPS and play a critical role in our modernization mission.
You'll be in good company among our global community of experts leading the future of mainframe modernization.
Experts who share knowledge openly and collaborate freely.
In this role, you'll design, build and maintain the high?volume business logic that runs on the mainframe.
At the same time you'll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe's core data.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDeveloping and testing Java microservices based on predefined architectural and functional specifications /liliImplementing business logic for complex, highly reliable transactional processes /liliContributing to the development of orchestration, integration, and data synchronization services /liliImplementing REST APIs documented using the OpenAPI 3.0 specification /liliWriting automated unit and integration tests,



while contributing to the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase /liliSupporting debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities /liliCollaborating with the team on observability, structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing initiatives /liliDeveloping highly reliable services for transactional processes with stringent scalability and resilience requirements /li /ulh3Who You Are /h3pTechnical Skills - Mandatory Skills and Qualifications The candidate must possess the following mandatory skills and qualifications: /pulli5+ years of experience /liliProficiency in Java17 and Spring Boot3.x /liliExperience in designing and implementing applications based on the microservices architectural pattern /liliStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis /liliFamiliarity with Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging systems /liliAbility to develop and consume RESTful APIs /liliKnowledge of OpenAPI3.0 and Swagger specifications /liliExperience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift /liliSolid experience in automated testing using JUnit5 /liliExperience with static code analysis tools to ensure code quality and security /liliBasic knowledge of structured logging, monitoring, and observability practices /li /ulpAbility to independently manage technical tasks, from requirements analysis through implementation; Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with architects, business analysts, and testers; Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to project and security standards; Good technical documentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
