ppIn this role you will contribute to the maintenance and performance of railway vehicles, using RAM data and field diagnostics to optimize maintenance strategies.
You will work within a global, innovative Hitachi Rail environment that values digital transformation and customer-focused delivery.
You will collaborate across systems, engineering, and operations to ensure safe, reliable train operations.
This is a hands?on position with opportunities to influence how maintenance plans are executed at depot and field sites.
You will engage with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and asset performance.
/p ul liAssure RAM data collection and traceability according to contractual requirements /li liManage vehicle configuration changes and maintain the as-maintained configuration with System Support Engineering /li liOperate infrastructure-based systems (MRX, PanMon, Gotcha) to monitor and respond to maintenance alerts and support condition-based maintenance /li liProvide performance analysis and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders regarding IT systems /li liSupport bid and proposal activities including budget definition for new initiatives /liliUpdate spare part lists and RAM analyses to align with maintenance plans and service operation experience /li liConduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to optimize corrective maintenance and feed feedback to design and standards teams /li liSupport maintenance operations, troubleshooting,



and action tracking according to System Support Engineering guidance /li liPrepare technical specifications for depot tools, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee installation and commissioning /li liProvide training to team members or customers as needed /li liPerform failure analysis for extrawarranty and manage supplier warranties /li liValidate and propose upgrades to Maintenance Manual /li liDrive continuous improvement of maintenance activities through tool design and process enhancements /li liApply knowledge of vehicle remote diagnostics and data validation /li liReport maintenance, safety defects, and operational events /li liPresent RAM data and operating data to customers /li liDevelop technical documentation for workshop maintenance operations /li liEnsure maintenance plans are implemented at depot and external sites throughout commissioning /li liSupport project teams with on-field analyses and engineering procedures development /li liOptimize maintenance regimes and support future contracts with Operations and Maintenance teams /li liAssist Procurement and Operations in supplier assessments and approvals /li liMinimum 3 years railway vehicles maintenance engineering experience /li liExperience in maintenance plan optimization, complex troubleshooting, and RAMS analysis /li liAbility to diagnose vehicle systems and interpret contract specifications /li liAbility to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and pneumatic plans /li liWillingness to travel frequently (more than 60%) /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
