ppIn this role you will translate creative trim concepts into technically viable products for Burberry's ready-to-wear collections.
You will collaborate with Design, Product Development and Engineering to bring innovation and craftsmanship to every detail, while meeting timelines and budget.
You will lead seasonal trim research, manage the trim development path, and oversee sourcing, ordering and delivery to ensure quality and cost targets.
Your work will bridge design intent with manufacturing realities across global partnerships.
/pulliBuild and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, understanding capabilities, capacity and timelines /liliLead seasonal trim research and present new concepts aligned with design direction and brand standards /liliDefine and manage the trim development critical path, ensuring milestones and proactive risk management /liliOversee sourcing, ordering and delivery of trims, meeting quality, cost and timing targets /liliCollaborate cross-functionally with Design,
Product Development and Engineering to resolve technical challenges and support product testing /liliMaintain accurate PLM information, ensuring consistency and transparency throughout development /liliStrong understanding of trim development, materials and construction with ability to translate concepts into technical solutions /liliProven experience working with vendors and building effective partnerships /liliExperience managing multiple projects with balance of creativity and commercial/cost considerations /liliKnowledge of fabrics, raw materials, garment construction and leather valued /liliEffective communicator capable of influencing cross-functional teams /liliExperience with PLM and Microsoft Excel, detail-oriented /li /ulpIn this role you will translate creative trim concepts into technically viable products for Burberry's ready-to-wear collections.
