pSpecialista Senior / Project Manager /ppIn this role you apply thermo-fluid dynamics and climate comfort expertise to develop and validate HVAC and air distribution solutions for trains.
You will run CFD and experimental tests to assess comfort and energy performance, contributing to RD and cross?disciplinary innovation.
You work within the AeroX and Climatic Comfort domain to deliver robust simulations and validated results that support bids and projects.
This position offers the chance to shape passenger and driver comfort on mobility systems at scale and across sites.
/pulliPerform CFD simulations for internal aerodynamics and climatic comfort, including air distribution, temperature uniformity, draft risk, and HVAC efficiency /liliAnalyze cabin thermal behavior, heat loads, ventilation rates, and HVAC system performance /liliSupport design and optimization of HVAC units, air ducts, diffusers, intakes, filters, heating and cooling solutions /liliPredict climate comfort indicators using standard methodologies and internal best practices (PMV/PPD, temperature maps) /liliDefine comfort requirements at vehicle and subsystem level /liliPrepare technical documentation for offers and projects concerning climatic performance /liliPlan and analyze experiments in environmental chambers, mock-ups, or on-train tests /liliSupport development of advanced modelling techniques combining internal aerodynamics,

thermal loads, and occupant comfort /liliContribute to RD programs focused on improving comfort, energy efficiency, and HVAC system integration /liliInteract with AeroX and Comfort experts across sites to leverage shared knowledge /liliComplementary Aerodynamic Responsibilities: assess external aerodynamic performance when needed and contribute to train aerodynamics testing /liliBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related fields /lili5+ years in thermo-fluid dynamics, HVAC, climatic comfort engineering in railway or related sectors /liliExperience in numerical simulation and experimental testing /liliExperience managing technical tasks or small teams (preferred) /liliProficiency with CFD software STAR-CCM+, CFX, Fluent, PowerFLOW (or equivalents) /liliStrong understanding of thermal management, HVAC systems, air distribution and human comfort assessment /liliFamiliarity with fluid-structure interaction and aero-thermal coupling (plus) /liliAbility to lead transversal RD actions and methodology development /liliAdvanced English; Italian also advantageous /li /ulIn this role you apply thermo-fluid dynamics and climate comfort expertise to develop and validate HVAC and air distribution solutions for t... #J-*****-Ljbffr
