/ph3MATERIAL PLANNER /h3h3Purpose of the Job /h3pTo secure the material delivery from suppliers by liasing on a daily basis the project planning teams (Industrial Planning and PrIDM), Sourcing Department (when it's required) and Suppliers.
He has to lead the relationship with Suppliers assigned with the aims of ensuring the material deliveries on time and in full as scheduled by purchase orders and of tracking the KPI of the main logistics service for production with the aims of ensuring the required cost and performance targets.
/ph3Main Missions /h3ulliTo process purchase orders for production materials on the basis of the frame agreement with Suppliers /liliTo establish and to manage an proper relationship with main Suppliers to secure OTIF delivery commitments for the production materials /liliTo manage the assigned suppliers.
/liliTo set material delivery plan based on call-off methodology when it is required /liliTo co-ordinate with Industrial Planning Team a proper material delivery follow-up,



detecting potential slippage and proposing corrective actions on assigned Supplier /li /ulh3Objectives /h3ulliEnsure "OTD" target of materials for production related to assigned Suppliers /liliKeep the material delivery schedule in line with material project requirements for the Suppliers assigned.
/li /ulh3KPIs /h3ulliMaterial delivery performance measurement accuracy (methodology in place) /liliBasic reporting system to Industrial Planning for material delivery follow up /liliEffective reschedule of engaged purchase orders (keep low the number of expired purchase expired) for the Supplier assigned.
/li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3pExpediting purchase orders for all the production materials related to assigned Suppliers /ppFollow up and delivery rescheduling of assigned supplier and basic reporting to Industrial Planning /ph3Requirements /h3ulliUniversity Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Logistics Knowledge / Experience /liliAt least 2 years of experience in a similar position /liliEnglish: fluent written and spoken /liliWorking knowledge of MRP and JIT system /liliPC literate with experience of MS Excel Ability to read and include/understand technical documentation /liliDesirable working knowledge of SAP /liliKnowledge of Railway Electronics and Signalling equipment /li /ulpSalary Range ****** € - ******€ /ppCCNL (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale del Lavoro) applied: Metalmeccanici Industria /ppYou don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
