Pisa- /strongbased office we are looking for a strong

Software Technical Leader /strong to drive the design and delivery of complex software products end to end.

You’ll combine strong hands-on engineering expertise (modern C++, Qt, distributed messaging, secure communications, REST APIs, and relational databases) with leadership across product definition, roadmap execution, and team enablement.

You’ll be a key decision-maker, setting technical direction, ensuring engineering excellence, and partnering closely with Product Management to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software on predictable timelines. /ppbr/ppstrong

Technical Leadership Execution /em /ppbr/pullistrong

Own architecture /strong for core components and services, with an emphasis on modularity, performance, reliability, and security-by-design. /lilistrong

Lead development /strong using modern C++ (C++17/C++20), Qt (Widgets and/or QML), ZeroMQ, POCO, OpenSSL, and RESTful APIs defined with OpenAPI. /lilistrong

Implement secure communication /strong and cryptographic best practices using OpenSSL (TLS, certificate management, key handling). /lilistrong





Model and optimize data /strong flows using relational databases (schema design, indexing, transactions, migrations). /lilistrong

Mentor senior engineers /strong through pairing, design sessions, and structured feedback; elevate team standards and practices. /lilistrong

Drive incident prevention and resolution /strong via root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions. /li /ulpbr/ppem

Product Management Partnership /em /ppbr/pullistrong

Requirements discovery refinement: /strongcollaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into clear, testable specifications and technical plans, aligning technical milestones with product goals. /lilistrong

Prioritization Task assignment: /strongapply value/effort trade-offs, decompose epics into deliverable increments, and maintain a healthy backlog. /lilistrong

Allocate work across the project team: /strongusing Agile techniques /li /ulpbr/ppstrong

OpenAPI /strong: spec-first design, client/server generation, versioning, and documentation. /lilistrong





Relational Databases /strong: schema design, SQL proficiency, transactions, performance tuning. /lilistrong

Git /strong: branching strategies (e.g., Git

Flow/Trunk), code review workflows, release tagging. /lili

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. /lili6+ years in professional software development with 2+ years in a stronglead/architect /strong capacity (or equivalent impact). /li /ulpbr/ppstrong

Conan 2 /strong: C++ package management, reproducible builds, internal artifact repositories. /lilistrong

ZeroMQ /strong: patterns (REQ/REP, PUB/SUB, PUSH/PULL), multipart messaging, reliability considerations. /lilistrong

OpenSSL /strong: TLS configuration, certificates/PKI, key/cipher management, secure channel integration. /lilistrong

Cybersecurity knowledge /strong: threat modeling, secure coding guidelines, SAST/DAST, CVE triage, dependency risk management (SBOM). /lilistrong

Qt OpenGL and QLM /strong: strong

OpenGLWidgets /strong integration, rendering pipelines, performance considerations. /lili

Experience with strongCI/CD /strong (e.g., Git

We offer a permanent employment contract.

The final compensation offered will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role. /pp

Annual gross salary range: €50.000 - 55.000 /p
