At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions. /ppbPurpose of the position: /b As bEQUIPMENT/MACHINERY COST ENGINEER /b you will be part of the bENCAR - Energy Carries, Tendering Estimating Department /b. /ppbHow can you support us? /b /ppPreparing Cost Estimation for Equipment/Machinery procurement based on Material Take Off received from engineering departments, defining unit cost through market inquiries and/or internal cost database, availing of Procurement department support where required. /ppbMore specifically: /b /pulliTo analyze and understand the Scope of Works defined by tendering documentation, with reference to technical aspect and specifications related to Equipment. /liliFor specific discipline, define the estimating strategy identifying the critical procurement items that require dedicated market inquiries. /liliContribute to Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), done by engineering departments, verifying the alignment to technical requirements and project specifications. /liliPrepare Commercial bid Evaluation (CBE) verifying the alignment to contract requirements and evaluating potential cost impact of deviations.



/liliReview and agree with Lead Estimator the priced Material take off to be included in the cost built-up. /liliParticipate in cost review and cost closure meetings. /li /ulpMaintain constantly updated internal material unit cost database /ph3What are we looking for? /h3pWe are looking for a candidate with basic experience in Equipment/Machinery engineering, able to plan and organize activities to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and continuously develop, flexible, and capable of working effectively under pressure while setting the right priorities. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple internal and external interfaces are required. /ppbEducation: /b Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or similar) /ppbBackground: /b 2-5 Years as Equipment/Machinery engineering /ppbTechnical/IT Knowledge: /b Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point /ph3What else should you know? /h3pAdvanced Excel user is a “nice to have” /ppAvailability for national and abroad mobilization (missions) is required. /ph3What we can offer to you: /h3ullibFor home office contract /b: Pay not lower than 38,000 € /lilibCorporate Benefits: /b We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance,
