We are looking for an AI Engineer to assist us in building exceptional web applications.

Who you are

- passionate AI Engineer responsible for developing web applications using technologies such as Python, Generative AI, and more. Experience with different LLM providers, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning and evaluation metrics is beneficial.
- Experience working on one or more projects in the AI field. Skilled in backend programming and integrating external services. Beneficial to have a good understanding and ease in the fields of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Data Science.
- great at working together with a team of designers, software engineers, and project managers to challenge and comprehend product needs from a business perspective.
- comfortable engaging with clients to understand and translate their business needs into product requirements.
- proactive and autonomous and prefer working without constant supervision. We provide a stimulating and supportive atmosphere where you can always learn and grow.
- fan of good UX , whether it's for your client's products or for tools used by your colleagues. You always aim for perfection and find the right balance between design and implementation.

- Speak Italian fluently and English proficiently.

Recruitment Process

- First contact : If your profile catches our attention, we will schedule a 30‑minute phone call with you. We will have the opportunity to get to know each other better and share our stories.
- Technical interview : If you apply for a technical position, such as a developer or designer role, we will conduct a one‑hour interview to assess the necessary hard skills and knowledge.
- Behavioral interview : If you have the required hard skills, we will evaluate your soft skills.



We especially care about aspects such as the ability to collaborate with coworkers, teaching skills, and empathy.
- Take‑home project : For the final step, we will give you plenty of time to independently complete a 4 to 6‑hour‑long task, small but realistic. We will pay for your effort upon task completion, not its success.
- Onboarding : During onboarding, you’ll familiarize yourself with the work environment and company culture, and get to know your new colleagues and their roles.
- Training & Evaluation : During the initial weeks, we will provide comprehensive training and evaluate your progress on both practical and theoretical skills, tools, and methodology.

- Full‑remote positions : We have a hybrid remote work policy. Employees are required to be physically present on specific occasions, such as project days (one day a week dedicated to the main project), BJR Technology days (one day a month), and on‑site weeks (two weeks a year). We also have Remote Months, allowing employees to work remotely for two months a year.
- Body rental service : We do not provide body‑rental services. We prefer establishing impactful, long‑term partnerships through project‑based collaborations.
- Italian language requirement : Speaking Italian is necessary for most positions. Knowledge of Italian is optional only for collaboration roles. We value diverse cultures and perspectives.
