APPRENTISHIP CONTRACT
Natixis is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Corporate Coverage Team. Candidates should possess a fundamental understanding of corporate finance principles, a broad knowledge of IB products, and the ability to contribute to pitch and deal materials.
The Corporate Coverage team is responsible for originating new client relationships and managing the existing portfolio of corporate clients by promoting the full suite of Natixis CIB banking products offering, including Advisory, Financing, DCM, Structured Equity Capital Markets, Global Markets, and Trade Finance, amongst others. Working with Senior Bankers, the Analyst will contribute to develop long-lasting relationship with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across various industries (Energy, Construction, Infrastructure, TMT, Healthcare ETC.), in strict collaboration with all Business Lines of the Bank.
Responsibilities:
The Analyst will be involved in various projects across different sectors and will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Collaborating with Senior Team members in the preparation of pitches and marketing materials
- Assisting in the preparation of internal credit committee materials
- Conducting company due diligence to identify business, market, and financial strengths and risks associated with corporate clients
- Performing financial statement and business plan analysis
- Monitoring a portfolio of clients, ensuring that annual reviews are performed, rating updated, and waiver requests processed
- Assisting in the negotiation, structuring and execution of live transactions
- Coordinating with other Business Lines, Credit Risk team, Middle and Back-office and Legal teams
- Supporting the team in nurturing and strengthening client relationships
- Maintaining and updating Know Your Customer profiles in alignment with internal compliance protocols
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Previous experience in Coverage preferred but not mandatory
