Junior Compliance Analyst

Career path toward Compliance Officer within 2-3 years

Salary Range

26,000 - 32,000 EUR/year

A leading fintech company operating in the European digital payments space is expanding its compliance team and looking for a Junior Compliance Analyst. You will support the team in monitoring regulatory requirements, conducting AML checks and preparing reports for the Bank of Italy.

This is an excellent entry point into fintech compliance with structured training and mentoring.

Responsibilities

- Monitor daily AML/KYC alerts and elevate suspicious activities
- Assist in preparing regulatory reports for Bank of Italy and EBA
- Review and update internal compliance policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance documentation and audit trails
- Assist with internal training on anti‑money laundering procedures

Must‑have Requirements

- Degree in Law, Economics, Finance or Political Science




- Basic understanding of AML/CFT regulations (D.Lgs. 231/2007)
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written Italian and English
- Proficiency with Excel

Nice‑to‑have Requirements

- Previous internship in compliance, legal or risk management
- ACAMS or ICA certification, or willingness to obtain one
- Knowledge of PSD2 and payment services regulations
- Experience with compliance software tools
