pb Automation Engineer - Contract | Immediate Start - Italy /bp Initial 3-month contract, with strong potential to extend to 6 months /pp Verifichi qui sotto se possiede i requisiti per questa possibilità e, in tal caso, invii la sua candidatura il prima possibile. brp We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking for experienced Automation Engineers to join a fast-paced, multi-site automation programme across the UK and Europe. /p p You will work alongside the client’s in-house engineering and controls teams, supporting PLC code development, implementation, commissioning, testing and continuous improvement across a network of highly automated sites. /p p This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Automation or Controls Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering complex, high-impact projects. /p p You will work on a site closest to you and remote support other locations. /p pb What You’ll Be Doing /b /pulli Developing, testing and commissioning PLC code using Siemens TIA Portal /lili Supporting fault-finding and troubleshooting on live automated systems /lili Leading and contributing to process improvement initiatives /lili Integrating and migrating code across Siemens TIA Portal versions /lili Supporting the deployment and commissioning of new automation projects /lili Acting as a key technical point of contact within a skilled team of contractors and permanent engineers /li /ulpb What We’re Looking For /b /pulli5+ years’ experience coding and commissioning in Siemens TIA /lili Strong working knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal (version 16 and above) /lili Experience troubleshooting complex issues across Controls, Fieldbus (Profinet, Profibus, ASi) and IT platforms /lili Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical issues to a range of stakeholders /lili Strong project management, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams /lili Good written and verbal English /lili Ability to work autonomously with minimal xrdbqlu supervision /lili Sound knowledge of machine safety regulations and safe working practices /li /ulpb Desirable Skills /b /pulli Knowledge of the Ignition platform for building SCADA/HMI systems /lili Familiarity with SCADA and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) concepts /lili Ability to analyse performance metrics to drive process optimisation /lili Experience leading a change management process /li /ulpb How to Apply /b /pp If you have a strong background in Siemens TIA automation and are ready for an immediate start, we’d love to hear from you.
