We are looking for a professional to join the Operations & Technology Department, within the Gaming Machine Development – AWP Accounting area, as a Middle SQL Server Developer.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Gaming Machines Development team, supporting the analysis of change requests and the development of advanced SQL queries and stored procedures, while occasionally contributing to web and back-end applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements from development teams and business units.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures and advanced database functions.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing.
- Perform reverse engineering of existing code to understand business logic, document it and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
- Interact with systems and data sources, ensuring seamless integration with web applications.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting activities.
- Contribute to back-end development and occasionally support front-end activities.
- Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation, including best practices and user guides.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in SQL development and relational database management.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience with query optimization, indexing and database performance tuning.
- Ability to analyze and understand existing database code and logic, even in environments with limited documentation.
- Knowledge of large-scale data management concepts and Data Warehousing.
