Role Description The Senior Manager role at KPMG Italy is a full-time, on-site position based in Rome. This role is responsible for leading client engagements in Audit, Advisory, or Tax & Legal, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance with professional standards, and alignment with client objectives.
The Senior
Manager oversees project planning, resource allocation, and budget management, while coaching and supervising multidisciplinary teams. Daily activities include developing proposals, presenting insights to client leadership, managing stakeholder relationships, and contributing to business development initiatives. The role also involves monitoring market trends,
supporting innovation in service offerings, and promoting KPMG’s values of trust, integrity, and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Audit, Advisory, or Tax & Legal services, with a strong track record in managing complex client projects.
- Experience in team leadership, including mentoring, performance management, and developing high-performing, diverse teams.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and build long-term partnerships.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with data-driven decision-making and risk assessment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; professional proficiency in Italian is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Rome and collaborate effectively across offices and service lines.
- Proven experience in business development, proposal preparation, and contributing to revenue growth.
- University degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, chartered accountant, legal qualification, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, sustainability, and regulatory developments impacting public, private, and non-profit organizations.
- High standards of integrity, commitment to quality, and alignment with KPMG’s purpose of inspiring confidence and guiding change.
