p Senior Mechanical Designer – RD p Who We Are Looking For /pp We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join an established RD team. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing new products, improving existing designs and supporting projects through to production. /pp Main Responsibilities /pulli Design complex mechanical components, assemblies and products. /lili Develop detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings. /lili Contribute to new product concepts and technical development projects. /lili Assess manufacturability and continuously improve design solutions. /lili Support industrialisation and work closely with production teams. /lili Coordinate projects across engineering, manufacturing and other stakeholders. /lili Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. /li /ulp Required Qualifications /pulli Engineering degree with at least 2–3 years of relevant experience,



or a technical qualification with at least 4–5 years of experience. /lili Experience designing complex mechanical products, ideally within aerospace, automotive, transportation or another regulated manufacturing environment. /lili Advanced proficiency with a leading 3D CAD package. /lili Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, detailed technical drawings and design for manufacture. /lili Good problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills. /lili Ability to support and mentor less-experienced engineers. /li /ulp Preferred Skills /pulli Experience with finite element analysis and PDM systems. /lili Good technical English. /lili Willingness to undertake occasional international travel. /li /ul /p
