Deal equipment has been used in the construction of over 5.9 million sqm of decks all over the world with Deal’s parent company executing directly roughly 2.5 million sqm of these. The role supports both tendering and project execution by producing engineering designs and technical documentation, working closely with project teams and other disciplines to deliver technically sound, practical and cost-effective solutions aligned with project objectives, applicable standards and customer expectations. /p pb Responsibilities /b /ppb Engineering Design Technical Development /b /pulli Develop engineering designs and technical solutions in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards and Company procedures. /lili Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, drawings, specifications and other technical documentation required for tendering and project execution. /lili Perform engineering analyses and technical verifications to ensure the safety, reliability and feasibility of proposed solutions.
/lili Support the selection and optimization of engineering solutions to achieve technical performance, cost efficiency and constructability objectives. /lili Identify technical issues, design risks and non-conformities, proposing appropriate corrective actions and technical solutions. /lili Contribute to the management of engineering changes by evaluating their technical impact and updating engineering documentation accordingly. /li /ul pb Project Technical Coordination /b /pulli Review customer specifications, contractual documents and technical requirements to ensure compliant engineering solutions. /lili Support tendering activities by providing technical inputs, preliminary designs and engineering evaluations for proposal development. /lili Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, Procurement, Production and other internal functions to ensure the effective development of engineering deliverables. /lili Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration and coordination of technical solutions across project activities. /lili Support technical clarifications with customers, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors during tendering and project execution, when required. /li /ul pb Engineering Documentation Document Management /b /pulli Ensure that engineering documentation is accurate, complete, consistent and issued in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements. /lili Maintain engineering records, calculations and technical documentation within the Company's document management systems. /li /ul pb Health,
Safety Compliance /b /pulli Ensure compliance with Company policies, the Code of Ethics, applicable laws and regulations, and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards and requirements. /li /ul pb Professional Development /b /pulli Maintain and continuously develop the technical and professional competencies required for the role through active participation in training, learning and development initiatives. /li /ul pb Qualifications /b /pulli Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. /lili At least 2-3 years of experience in mechanical and/or industrial engineering design, preferably in heavy equipment, steel structures or construction-related projects. /lili Good knowledge of structural analysis and engineering calculation principles. /lili Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD). /lili Good knowledge of mechanical design, engineering drawings and applicable technical standards. /lili Good English knowledge. /lili Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical solutions and identify design risks. /lili Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and effectively coordinate with internal functions, customers, suppliers and subcontractors. /lili Proactive attitude, attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning and professional development. /li /ul p Position report to the Head of Engineering.
