- Payout : $40 - $100/hour

Role Overview: Seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer (FreeCAD) to create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings for custom mechanical components. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet production requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components using FreeCAD.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and performance.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and improve production processes.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs and engineering change orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proficiency in FreeCAD for parametric modeling and drafting.




- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ISO standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with sheet metal design, machining, and assembly processes.
