Reports To: Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Controller

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support core accounting functions, assist with month-end closing processes, and help maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Reconciliations

- Record daily financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and reconcile bank statements .
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledger balances and resolve discrepancies .
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including prepaids and accruals .

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, data entry, and payment processing (checks, ACH, wires) .
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, resolve billing issues, and assist with collections .
- Manage vendor onboarding, account reconciliations, and payment-related inquiries .

Financial Reporting & Closing

- Assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes .
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements .
- Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for external audits .





Data Management & Compliance

- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accounting software .
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and tax filings (e.g., GST, VAT) .
- Support forecasting, budgeting exercises, and special projects as assigned .

Qualifications Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required .
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting-related role or relevant internship is preferred .

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) .
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements .

Preferred Qualifications

- CPA certification or progress toward obtaining CPA is a plus .
- Experience with specific accounting software or industry (e.g., construction, hospitality) is a plus .

Job Types: Full-time, Tempo parziale Pay: €28,000.00 - €38,000.00 per year
