John Cabot University, an accredited American liberal arts university in Rome, seeks a dynamic and motivated Events Manager to join the Office of Special Projects and Events. Reporting to the Senior Advisor to the President and working closely with the Special Projects Manager, the Events Manager will plan and deliver a wide range of university events, including alumni engagements, fundraising, activities, celebrations and institutional meetings, and will support key presidential and executive initiatives. This role also oversees logistics, vendor and sponsor relationships, and coordination with attendees and presenters to ensure seamless delivery while providing overall event support.
The ideal candidate is calm and solution-oriented under pressure, highly professional, and demonstrates strong emotional intelligence. This is a full-time (38 hours/week), fully on-site, one-year term contract with the possibility of renewal. The gross annual salary for this position ranges from €21,500 to €24,500, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
