The primary purpose of the Front Desk Agent Turnante is to ensure that guests have an excellent hotel experience through greeting them, processing check-in and check-out, issuing room keys, answering questions and addressing guest requests.
The Front Desk Agent Turnante will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Front Desk operations during your assigned shift to a consistently high standard;
- Ensure personal knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and special promotional offers, as well as daily VIP and special events;
- Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and marketing program;
- Manage Guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and completely;
- Maintain the professional appearance of the Front Desk with a focus on hospitality and Guest service;
- Check-in and check-out guests;
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner;
- Answer inquires pertaining to hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, and travel directions;
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and process guest accounts;
- As needed, fulfill all job responsibilities expected of Concierge Attendant;
- Fax and make copies for guests,
along with other services of the Business Center;
- Arrange for sending and receiving of packages;
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications;
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- A Front Desk Agent serving The Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members;
- Front Office experience in Hotel of same category, preferable in Marriott Luxury Properties;
- Strong commercial/business awareness and demonstration of sales capabilities;
- Calm, organized work ethic with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service;
- Experience with answering multi-line phone lines;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs;
- Excellent command of Italian and English. Additional languages will be appreciated;
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role;
- Proficiency in Opera and MARSHA Operational Systems required;
