CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Previous experience in logistics, production, warehouse operations or a similar role.
- Experience within the glass industry or the luxury, design, fine arts or manufacturing sectors would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes and lead times.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive, reliable and hands-on approach to work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Strong administrative and reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Outlook, Excel and Word - is desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare, pack and dispatch high-value handcrafted glass pieces for domestic and international shipments, ensuring safe handling at all stages.
- Carry out quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing products and perform final pre-dispatch checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Process e-commerce orders, coordinating order preparation, packing and fulfilment.
- Assist with the coordination and monitoring of domestic and international shipments.
- Coordinate production orders and monitor manufacturing progress with Murano artisans to support production schedules.




- Liaise with the Design team and glass furnaces to assist with production planning.
- Coordinate the transport of products between Murano production facilities, the studio and external warehouse.
- Assist with inventory control, stock management and warehouse organisation, maintaining accurate stock records.
- Manage the procurement and stock levels of packaging materials, labels and shipping supplies.
- Organise bespoke packing solutions, including custom wooden crates and specialist packaging for fragile or oversized pieces.
- Coordinate quality control activities and shipment preparation with the external warehouse.
- Assist with the preparation of bulk shipments.
- Prepare and maintain quality control reports, technical documentation and product specification packs (Tech Packs).
- Assist with sourcing new suppliers and service providers when required.
- Maintain the showroom by ensuring all displayed works are clean, well-presented and handled with the utmost care.
- Assist with the day-to-day organisation and maintenance of the studio, gallery and warehouse to ensure a safe, efficient and professional working environment.
- Provide general operational and administrative support across production and logistics activities.

Pay: €950.00 - €1,200.00 per month
