As part of accelerating our development in the Italian market, my client is recruiting an experienced B2B Account Executive to take responsibility for the commercial development of their territory in Italy.
This position is part of an ambitious growth strategy approved at Group level, with genuine opportunities for rapid career progression for the successful candidate: increased responsibilities, an expanded geographical scope, and eventually team management.
We are looking for a true B2B hunter who can operate independently in the field and deliver tangible results from the first few months.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with the Italian sales team, you will be responsible for developing your territory and building a strong distribution network in Italy.
Business Development & Territory Acquisition
- Co-build and lead an ambitious territory strategy for your geographical area
- Analyse your market: leads, competitors, potential partners and agricultural organisations
- Identify and approach key decision-makers: agricultural groups, distributors, cooperatives and agricultural merchants
- Build and maintain a strong partner network through regular field meetings
- Negotiate and close high-value distribution and partnership agreements
Network Management & Sales Performance
- Ensure a structured handover of new partners to the AM/CSM team
- Maintain rigorous management of your CRM pipeline (calls, meetings, deals, follow-ups, closing and forecasting)
- Contribute to defining sales objectives and KPIs for your territory
- Participate in agricultural trade shows, demonstration days and industry events
Strategic Contribution
- Share field insights to support product and commercial strategy
- Contribute to webinars,
technical days and presentations of our solutions
- Proactively propose market development initiatives
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, International Business, Management or equivalent
- 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales / business development, ideally in a SaaS, AgTech, Tech or specialised distribution environment
- Demonstrable track record: ability to close deals, build a network and achieve targets
- Experience in the Italian agricultural market or a strong interest in the agricultural / AgTech sector is a significant advantage

- Autonomous and organised, with the ability to independently manage your territory
- Excellent communicator, comfortable building relationships and influencing both face-to-face and remotely
- Structured and disciplined in the use of CRM tools
- Comfortable in a startup / scale-up environment: agile, adaptable and entrepreneurial mindset
Languages
- Fluent Italian (daily working language: customer contacts, emails, field meetings and presentations)
- Professional English required (Sencrop's official language)
- Valid driving licence required
