IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Associate to join the Gianfranco Soldera Prostate Cancer Lab at the Urological Research Institute, led by Professor Alberto Briganti.
Our team is dedicated to advancing the understanding of prostate cancer by studying its progression, identifying new therapeutic options, and improving patient outcomes. In close collaboration with the clinical urology unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, we leverage an extensive biobank and data from over 20,000 patients to drive cutting-edge, patient-centered research. Our investigations focus on genetic and hereditary factors, the roles of hormones and the immune system, and innovative therapeutic strategies. We aim to understand how these elements influence cancer progression and metastasis, helping to refine personalized treatment approaches.
We are a growing laboratory, seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for science to drive the next stages of our research forward. We have multiple projects at advanced stages, offering immediate opportunities to contribute. Through our extensive network of national and international collaborations, we have access to state-of-the-art experimental techniques and cutting-edge methodologies.
Main activities:
Prioritize and conduct technical and biomedical research experiments efficiently
Prepare and analyze samples for single-cell omics, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry
Handle in vivo tumor mouse models
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for passionate and motivated Postdoctoral Researchers and Research Assistants to provide comprehensive support across a wide range of research activities:
Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field
Previous experience in biomedical/molecular research
Proficiency in cell culture, molecular biology, and cancer biology
Strong communication skills in English
PhD qualification required for the Postdoctoral Researcher position
