IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for Research associate to join the Lymphoid Stromal Cell Biology Unit led by Dr. Andrea Brendolan at the Division of Experimental Oncology. The focus on the laboratory is to study the biology of lymphoid stromal cells in health and diseases.

Main activities:
We are seeking for an enthusiastic and motivated junior research fellow (pre- or post-doctoral) to work on a project funded by EU Horizon 2020 and focused on understanding the role of stromal cells in T cell differentiation and function. The candidate will investigate stroma-immune cells interactions to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the role of stromal cells in promoting differentiation of T cells. He/she will exploit the use of in vitro 3D culture models, flow cytometry and imaging.

Who we are looking for:
Applicants with prior training in cancer biology and immunology, and with experience in cell cultures, flow cytometry and imaging
Ability to work independently as part of a team; a solution-oriented attitude




Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English are expected
