Description: The Contract Manager is responsible for contract close-out, extension and renewal, and communication of contractual changes to all stakeholders. Managing contracts and provides sound contractual advice on deliverables of varying complexity (Capital project/Engineering/Construction) both pre- and/or post-contract.
The Contract Manager is responsible for the lifecycle of all Contracts. Managing and directing the contracts compliance and management, which includes the vendor, consultants and contractors vetting process and vendor insurance compliance in alignment with the Group’s Policies and Procedures, Client requirements and project specification for the purpose of minimizing exposure to risk while achieving optimal cost savings in corporate and projects strategic activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Relationship: Create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts. Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as single point of contact for contractual matters.
- Close-out: Contract close-out, extension and renewal, and communication of contractual changes to all stakeholders
- Claim: Resolve any contract-related issues, internally or externally, provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution.
- Code: Well versed with FIDIC contracts and local regulation if and when needed
- Implementation: Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts.
- Record Keeping:
Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Monitor: Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate.
- Communication: Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders.
- Business: Drive C&P; operations and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans and outstanding execution of procurement strategy.
- Compliance: Act as advisor to the management team regarding legal requirements, specifications, and government regulations.

- Deep knowledge of main contracts and standards as framework, mandatory FIDIC and Codice degli Appalti
- ACONEX proficiency
- High proficiency with MS Office, Autodesk AutoCAD and ERP
Qualifications: Master of Science in Engineering or Architecture. Min. 12 years of overall experience with Procurement, Tender and Contract Management, of which preferably 6 years in Europe, 6 years in MENA region. Ideally with Construction, Project Management or/and Real Estate background. Italian native speaker. Excellent English language proficiency ((CEFR C2 level), French proficiency considered an added advantage.
