Your role:

As a Contract Manager, you will support Proposal and Sales teams during the offer preparation and negotiation phases, contributing to the analysis, identification, and evaluation of contractual and legal risks and adoption of mitigation actions.

Additionally, you will assist Project Managers during the contract execution phase, helping to monitor contractual obligations, manage claims-related aspects, and ensure alignment with agreed terms and conditions and compliance with Italian Law.

You’ll make an impact by:

- providing clear contractual analysis and advice to sales/proposal and project manager teams on matters concerning contractual obligations, contract risk, and claim management in collaboration with legal department;
- managing daily commercial and contractual issues;
- supporting, from a contractual and legal point of view, proposal/sales teams during the contract negotiation;
- ensuring mitigation of risks both during negotiation and execution phases;
- reviewing incoming correspondence of client and/or suppliers/subcontractors, and drafting official correspondence;
- preparing variation orders, change requests, and claims, including the development and definition of the related strategy;
- Managing the resolution of disputes at the pre-litigation stage and drafting settlement agreements.

What makes you a great match:

Core Requirements

- Degree in Law;
- At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience;




- Understanding of contracts’ risks and potential legal and financial consequences associated therewith;
- Excellent knowledge of Italian Civil Law;
- Knowledge of general contractual standards;
- Use of independent judgment in resolution of contract claim issues;
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
- Eligibility to work in Italy

Preferred Requirements

- Proven experience in complex projects, including risk assessment and claims management activities;
- Negotiation skills with clients/suppliers/subcontractors;
- Knowledge of Italian Public Procurement Law.

The pay range for this position is €50000–€65000 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
