ROLE MISSION

Reporting to the Head of Collection Merchandising, the Collection Merchandiser will be responsible for defining the collection proposal for the assigned product categories, defining a product strategy coherent with the brand image and customer expectation, developing a collection that can maximize profitability, keeping innovation and quality as pillars.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Collaborate with Creative Team and Product team to define the collection for the assigned products categories.
- Oversee the development of the collection for those categories




- Help define collection strategy, exploiting market and product opportunities
- Conduct market and product research
- Map competitors and create price benchmarking
- Define pricing based on brand strategy, positioning and marginality
- Liaise with RTL and WHLS team to get insight on customer needs
- Present the collection to WHLS, RTL and Buyers.
- Guide WHLS accounts during the selection and buying appointments
- Define with RTL team the collection master order
- Structure sales analysis to plan future strategies

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years prior experience in similar position in a multinational company
- Italian and English fluent
- University Degree in Economics
- A minimum MBA level required or university equivalent, specialized in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields
- Luxury business and product knowledge
- Strong Merchandising experience
- Strong sense of taste and product sensibility
- Proficient in MS Office, BO database systems
