Job description: International Trader Africa

Products: Corrugated base paper, kraft sack paper, pulp

Organisation: Direct cooperation with the management, support by qualified experienced employees

Task: We are looking for a dynamic trader personality. The goal is to expand the business in all aspects.

- Responsibility for conceptual and operational trading in pulp and papers: Customer potential analyses, supplier evaluation, pricing policy, sales planning, logistics and framework agreements
- Budget preparation as well as coordination and communication of all measures necessary to achieve the objectives
- Development of partnerships with strategic suppliers / producers (core task)
- Profitable expansion of the market position in Africa
- Customer acquisition
- Continuous market observation
- Active price negotiations in purchasing, for transport services and with customers (incl. payment conditions)
- Professional advice and offer exemplary service
- Responsibility for results
- Trustful cooperation in the team

Start: As soon as possible, taking into account existing contracts

Requirements of the candidate

Requirement:



Good market and product knowledge in the area of paper, containerboard and pulp in Africa

Work experience: 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in paper trading, paper distribution, converting and printing companies or paper mills

Existing customer contacts in the relevant market segments and countries

Personality characteristics:

- Drive and hunting instincts
- Strong commercial skills
- Independent, structured way of working
- Confident and skillful appearance
- Persuasiveness and confidence in closing deals
- Social competence and open-minded towards other cultures
- Familiar with travelling in Africa
- Team spirit and communication skills
- Integrity

Languages: Very good English, French would help
