About the Company & Role
TAGS Design Studio is a new creative retail concept opening in the heart of Rome, just steps from the Pantheon. TAGS brings together retail, creativity, personalization, gifting and experiential shopping in one memorable customer journey.
Customers do not simply purchase a product: they create it. Using our collection of decorative textile patches, our “Tags,” visitors personalize passport holders, luggage tags, tote bags, keychains, pouches, hats, notebook and planner covers, aprons, laptop sleeves, dog accessories, frames and more. They select an item, choose their Tags, develop a design and leave with a unique piece.
As a Sales Associate, you will be more than a salesperson. You will be a host, a creative guide and a key face of the TAGS experience. You will welcome guests from around the world, explain the concept, inspire their creativity and help them create a personalized product they will value.
Requirements
- Languages: Fluent Italian and good conversational English are required.
- Additional languages are strongly preferred, especially Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese or Japanese.
- Field of studies: Open to students and graduates from any field. Studies in business, marketing, fashion, design, tourism, hospitality, communication or related areas are an advantage.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, fashion or lifestyle, hospitality, tourism, hotels, food and beverage, entertainment or customer service is welcome but not essential.
- Personal qualities: Positive energy, excellent communication, reliability, customer focus, creativity, attention to detail, professionalism and a strong willingness to learn.
- Availability to work on site in central Rome and to support a dynamic retail schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer warmly and create a premium, inviting first impression.
- Clearly explain the TAGS concept and guide guests through the personalization experience.
- Inspire creativity and provide styling, design and product suggestions.
- Help customers select products and Tags and develop their personalized designs.
- Deliver attentive, premium and genuinely memorable service during every visit.
- Confidently assist international visitors in multiple languages.
- Support gift shoppers and corporate customers in choosing personalized solutions.
- Maintain a tidy, organized and visually appealing retail environment.
- Process transactions accurately and ensure a polished checkout experience.

Position Specifics
Place of work: TAGS Design Studio, Via della Dogana Vecchia 9, 00186 Rome. The role is fully on site.
Working hours: tempo parziale / Full-time
Compensation: EUR 1.000-800-600-400 Net per month (40-32-24-16 hours/week)
Employment type: In-person retail position.
