Service & Test Technician – Project Engineering & Test Area

Pombia (NO), Italy | ✈ Travel 20–30% (Italy & Abroad)

Our client is a global industrial engineering company specialising in the design, manufacturing, and testing of high-performance mechanical systems used in demanding environments such as energy, power generation, chemical processing, and advanced industrial applications.

We are hiring 2 Service & Test Technicians to join the Project Engineering & Test Area. Both roles are hands-on and operational, working in the test area with machines, instruments, and test rigs. The two positions differ in the level of involvement in engineering projects and onsite activities.

What you’ll do

- Perform performance and periodical tests (efficiency, capacity, reliability, output)
- Carry out noise emission and structural tests (static & dynamic)
- Prepare test rigs and testing machines
- Instrument components and assemble standard products and prototypes
- Support R&D; activities (assembly and construction)
- Participate in onsite activities at industrial customer sites (refineries, power plants, chemical plants)

Role A: Engineering & Site-Focused Technician

- More involved in engineering projects and site surveys
- Frequent interaction with customers
- Higher travel exposure
- Engineering degree or engineering diploma preferred

Role B : Test Room–Focused Technician

- Mainly focused on test room activities
- Occasional service and site survey support




- Technical diploma (Mechanical or Aeronautical)

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Hands-on mechanical profile (Montatore Meccanico mindset)
- Experience or understanding of maintenance or tooling
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Willingness to perform manual activities
- Predisposition to learn new instrumental technologies (strain gauge analyzers, vibration analyzers, phonometers, etc.
- Attention to detail, precision, orientation towards quality and learning
- English B1 or higher
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong learning mindset
