Mechanical Supervisor
YOU ACT
The Mechanical Supervisor, is responsible for the ensure the correct execution of the Erection of the Mechanical Parts and Equipment, in accordance to the Contractual Time Schedule, Design and Technical Requirement. Achieve the contractual milestones related to the erection phase. Coordinates Sub-Contractors
Tasks
- Supervision to the installation of the Mechanical parts and equipment
- Check of the correct alignment and movements of the equipment
- Verify that Erection Company is carrying out the job according to the Time Schedule, Design and Technical Requirement
- Check of the Planning of resources of the Erection Company
- Interface with the engineering departments for the resolution of any issues that may arise during execution of works.
- Check and Signing of Erection Completion documents
- Managing of Vendors and Contractors.
- Attendance at the meetings with the Customer on the progress of the works
- Managing of the relationship with the Client and, if required, with the local authorities.
- Coordination with Head Quarter, and Sub-Contractors.
- Preparation of daily reports on the status of activities relevant to the supervision
- Technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases.
YOU KNOW
- Leadership to coordinate, manage and controls the Mechanical / Piping Erection Activities in Industrial Plant;
- At least 3/5 years of professional experience in the construction of steel processing plants;
- Knowledge in Site erection and commissioning activities management preferred for steel plants
- Very good written and spoken English
- Ability to work in a team and flexibility
- Willingness to travel worldwide
- Organizational skills, sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
- Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations
