Driven by innovation, quality, and a commitment to excellence, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our procurement and supply chain operations.
The Role:
- Control of minimum and maximum stock levels and ordering of stock
- Sourcing new and alternate suppliers
- Negotiating and implementing cost effective purchasing processes
- Ensure best value for money is achieved for the company’s expenditure
- Coordinate the vendor qualification process and maintain records for this process
- Coordinate international vendor manufacturing lead times to ensure adequate stock is available
- Provide suppliers with rolling forecasts and respond to supplier queries as required
- Ensure that all purchasing process comply to company ISO9001:2008 Standards
- Effectively manage the good return, credit and warranty processes
- Assist with rolling order forecasts for all products and product groups
- Update stock descriptions and part numbers and creditors where required
About You:
- Purchasing, stock control experience and vendor management experience
- Accurate data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working within a Quality System would be advantageous - ISO9001 certified
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience working within an ERP System (SAP, Pronto etc)
- Ability to liaise with all levels within the organization including Senior Management
- Experience with qualifying vendors and documenting the process
- Systematic working practices and ability to uphold company procedures
- Experience with Bill of materials would be highly regarded
