Global TechOpS oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners. /p h3bThis is what you will do /b /h3 pThe Environmental specialist is responsible for leading the site’s environmental compliance strategy throughout the project and operational lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with applicable environmental legislation, corporate standards and permit requirements. /p pThe role is accountable for developing and maintaining the site’s Environmental Management System, managing environmental permitting activities, supporting sustainable site development and ensuring environmental risks are effectively identified and managed. /p pWorking in close collaboration with the Process Safety Seveso Specialsit, the position contributes to the implementation of the site’s Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System (SMS) by ensuring that environmental aspects related to Seveso legislation are effectively addressed and integrated into site operations. /p pThe position reports to the Head of HSE. /p h3bYou will be responsible for /b /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with applicable environmental legislation,



corporate standards and permit requirements. /li liManage environmental permits, authorizations and regulatory obligations (AUA/ AIA) /li liAct as the primary interface with environmental authorities and regulatory agencies. /li liCoordinate environmental inspections and support regulatory audits. /li liDevelop and maintain the Site Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 principles. /li liCoordinate environmental aspects and impacts assessments. /li liManage waste management programs, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous substances and environmental monitoring activities. /li liMonitor environmental performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. /li liDevelop and implement environmental procedures, standards and operational controls. /li liSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of the environmental elements of the site’s Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System (SMS). /li liCollaborate with the Process Safety Seveso Specialist in environmental risk assessments associated with Major Accident Hazards. /li liSupport environmental evaluations within the Management of Change (MOC) process. /li liContribute to emergency preparedness and emergency response planning from an environmental perspective. /li liEnsure environmental permits and compliance obligations remain aligned with site operational changes and Seveso requirements. /li /ul h3bProjects Operational Readiness /b /h3 ul liProvide environmental support to engineering projects from design through commissioning and start-up. /li liReview environmental requirements for new facilities, equipment and process modifications. /li liSupport environmental due diligence for new installations and process changes. /li liPromote Best Available Techniques (BAT) and environmental risk reduction measures during project execution. /li /ul h3bSustainability Continuous Improvement /b /h3 ul liSupport Corporate Sustainability initiatives and environmental reporting. /li liContribute to biodiversity, energy efficiency, water stewardship and waste minimization programs. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve environmental performance and resource efficiency. /li liSupport ESG-related environmental initiatives. /li /ul h3bGovernance Assurance /b /h3 ul liParticipate in internal, corporate and external audits. /li liManage corrective and preventive actions related to environmental findings. /li liPrepare environmental reports, KPIs and regulatory submissions. /li liSupport Management Reviews and Corporate reporting activities. /li /ul h3bCross-functional Collaboration /b /h3 ul liCollaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Facilities,



Corporate HSE and the Process Safety Seveso specialist. /li liSupport cross-functional project teams during site commissioning and operational readiness. /li liPromote environmental awareness and foster a proactive environmental culture across the organization. /li /ul h3bYou will need to have /b /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or other relevant scientific disciplines. /li liProven experience in environmental management within pharmaceutical, chemical or highly regulated manufacturing environments. /li liGood knowledge of Italian environmental legislation and permitting processes (D.Lgs.152/2006). /li liExperience with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001). /li liKnowledge of Seveso legislation and environmental aspects associated with Major Accident Prevention is considered a strong advantage. /li liFluent Italian and English. /li /ul h3bWe would prefer for you to have /b /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance. /li liExperience supporting Seveso or other major hazard industrial sites. /li liProject management and stakeholder management skills. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.ivel /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a complex project environment. /li liExcellent communication and influencing skills. /li /ul h3Location /h3 h3Compensation Range /h3 pThe minimum salary for this role is € 39.000, aligned to our established salary framework.
