Do you have high collaboration, priority management and listening skills? /ppThen you may be our new /ph3Senior Specialist, Procurement /h3pSuominen Corporation is looking to hire, for the Cressa plant (Novara, Italy) the Senior Specialist, Procurement, able to guarantee continuity to the production through the availability of all necessary materials and services. /ppAs Senior Specialist, Procurement – directly reporting to the Supply Chain Manager – you will be in charge of ensuring the availability of all direct and indirect supplies required for plant. /ph3Your key tasks and responsibilities will include: /h3ulliManaging autonomously contract selection and negotiation with key local suppliers /liliEnsuring availability of suppliers for direct and indirect services and related materials for production, in close cooperation with Maintenance department /liliManaging autonomously procurement of necessary raw materials to ensure production continuity at the plant /liliCollaborating with Raw Material Planner and Supply Chain Manager to align material and service purchase requirements with MRP planning outputs /liliEnsuring materials are available as required/scheduled and manage inventory to maintain adequate stock levels /liliCreating and managing all purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and related changes /liliDriving continuous improvement of the purchasing process within the plant /liliMonitoring cost management,



on-time deliveries and quality of incoming products /liliGuaranteeing correct setup and management of production materials (grades) and related BOMs (Bills of Materials) /liliNegotiating the sale of by-products and production waste /li /ulh3To be successful in this role, we would like you to have: /h3ulliHigh school diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or similar /liliAt least 2 years’ experience in similar roles in manufacturing companies /liliExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications /liliStrong teamwork and communication skills /liliProblem-solving ability and effective priority management /liliKnowledge of SAP and MRP principles /li /ulpThe position will be based in the Cressa plant (Novara, Italy) and will directly report to the Supply Chain Manager, Italy. /ppWe are offering a first 12-month contract, with possibility of stabilization. /ppSuominenmanufactures nonwovens as roll goods for wipes and other applications.
