ppMechanical Solutions Engineer - Data Centres /p /brpbLocation: /b Milan, Italy (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office) /p /brpbSalary: /b Up to €80,000 + premio /p /brh3The Opportunity /h3 /brpAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a bMechanical Solutions Engineer /b to join a fast-growing data centre organisation delivering mission-critical infrastructure projects across EMEA. /p /brpThis role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of bmechanical engineering, data centre design and customer solutions /b, supporting the development of hyperscale and colocation facilities across Europe. /p /brpYou will act as a key technical advisor, helping shape mechanical solutions from early concept design through to delivery, working closely with customers, engineering consultants, contractors and internal teams. /p /brh3The Role /h3 /brpAs a Mechanical Solutions Engineer, you will provide technical expertise across the mechanical aspects of data centre developments, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned with customer requirements. /p /brh3Key responsibilities include: /h3 /brul /brliLead mechanical engineering input into data centre solutions from concept design through project delivery. /li /brliDevelop and review mechanical design strategies, including cooling architectures, HVAC systems and plant solutions. /li /brliSupport customer discussions by providing technical guidance on mechanical infrastructure requirements. /li /brliCollaborate with engineering consultants, contractors and internal teams to deliver effective mechanical solutions. /li /brliReview mechanical designs, specifications,



calculations and technical documentation. /li /brliEvaluate cooling strategies, energy efficiency opportunities and future-proofing requirements for high-density computing environments. /li /brliProvide technical input across chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling infrastructure, heat rejection and liquid cooling solutions. /li /brliSupport value engineering activities, balancing technical performance, operational requirements and commercial considerations. /li /brliWork with teams across EMEA to maintain consistent engineering standards. /li /br /ul /brh3About You /h3 /brpYou will be an experienced mechanical engineer with a background in bdata centres, mission-critical infrastructure or complex industrial environments /b. /p /brh3You will ideally have: /h3 /brul /brlibMinimum 4 years’ experience working within data centres or mission-critical environments. /b /li /brliStrong mechanical engineering background with experience across HVAC and cooling systems. /li /brliExperience within data centre design, engineering consultancy, owner/operator or mission-critical delivery environments. /li /brliConsultancy design experience is highly desirable. /li /brliStrong understanding of chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units,
