About the Role
As a
MuleSoft Developer
, you'll be at the heart of Technogym's digital transformation, designing and building the integrations that connect our global technology ecosystem. We're looking for a talented integration specialist who thrives on solving complex connectivity challenges and creating seamless data flows across diverse systems and platforms.
You'll architect and develop API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, enabling our business to operate more efficiently and deliver exceptional experiences to our customers worldwide. Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Design Center
Build robust APIs following API-led connectivity principles and RESTful design patterns using RAML or OAS specifications
Develop complex data transformations using DataWeave to map and transform data between diverse systems and formats
Implement integration patterns (message routing, content enrichment, orchestration, error handling) to solve business challenges
Create and maintain Mule applications for CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on-premise deployment environments
Design and implement security policies including OAuth 2.0, JWT, client ID enforcement, and API throttling
Build integrations with enterprise systems including Salesforce, SAP, AWS, GCP, databases, file systems, messaging queues, and third-party APIs
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and design scalable integration solutions
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of integration services
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using Anypoint Monitoring and external tools
Participate in code reviews and establish development best practices and reusable assets
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket or AWS CodePipeline
Document API specifications, integration designs, and technical architecture for stakeholder consumption
Stay current with MuleSoft releases, connectors, and platform enhancements to continuously improve solutions
Support production deployments and provide technical expertise for incident resolution
Qualifications and Background
Required:
3-5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API development and deployment
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience (we value skills over credentials—relevant experience and certifications may substitute for formal education)
Strong proficiency with DataWeave for complex data transformations and mappings
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs following best practices and industry standards
Solid understanding of integration patterns, SOA,
and microservices architecture
Knowledge of API specification languages (RAML, OAS/Swagger) and API lifecycle management
Experience with various protocols and standards (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, JMS, AMQP, FTP/SFTP)
Familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, and other data formats
Understanding of API security concepts including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API gateway policies
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Desirable:
MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) - Level 1 or Level 2 certification
MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect certification
Experience with Salesforce integration using MuleSoft Salesforce Connector
Experience with SAP 4/HANA integration using MuleSoft SAP Connector
Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other enterprise system integrations
Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid deployment models
Familiarity with Anypoint MQ, message queuing systems (AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka)
Experience with API-led connectivity and building reusable API frameworks
Knowledge of CI/CD practices for MuleSoft
Understanding of database concepts, SQL, and database connectors
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, ELK stack, Anypoint Monitoring)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, MUnit)
Understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging patterns
Active participation in MuleSoft community (forums, meetups, blog contributions)
