ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ENGINEER
You are going to join our AI team that uses Generative-AI to build conversational interfaces for MSC service exposed to our internal users and external customers. You will orchestrate RAG and Function calling to implement the next generation of shipping chatbots.
You will have the opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft AI-tools to interact and integrate shipping data with Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
We are looking for developers having experience on Generative-AI technologies.
MSC is a "MS stack" based using C#. Still,
we are also considering developers that are currently using other languages (e.g. python), but they are willing to add C# language and MS stack to their toolbox.
ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build technical components
Produce application documentation
Collaborate daily with a global team to assist on the delivery in time and according to quality standards
Provide input, review, guidelines to the Community of Practice team, evaluate implementation and contribute to continuous improvement
Contribute to the planning, study, design, implementation, testing and deployment phases of the software development projects
Actively participate in the components identification and their dependencies with other systems in the enterprise architecture
Contribute to training activities with their corresponding material
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in designing and implementing medium to complex Generative AI solutions
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applied to large-scale document collections
SQL-to-LLM integration with medium to large databases (200+ tables)
Basic knowledge of Azure platform and key Microsoft cloud services.
Usage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Development of tooling enabling action execution through API integrations
Knowledge of LLM frameworks (e.g. Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agentic Framework, etc..)
Basic knowledge of low-code tools for building AI agents and automations (e.g.,
Microsoft Copilot Studio).
Good knowledge in English (oral and written)
Communication skills in a global and multicultural environment
Experience with global team development

The position will be classified within the Employee category, at one of the C2, C3, B1 or B2 levels under the Italian Metalworking Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria).
The classification level and any additional remuneration components supplementing the base salary will be determined based on an assessment, carried out during the selection process, of objective and neutral criteria such as, by way of example, the candidate's professional experience, technical skills, level of autonomy and the responsibilities required by the role.
