Job Title: Software Engineer — Full-stack

Reporting to: Team Leader, R&D;

Experience: Mid-level (around 3—5 years)

Location: Remote - Italy

Salary Range: da 33.000 Euro - 40.000 Euro

Position Overview

Atex builds the software that 400+ publishers across 55 countries use to produce, distribute, and monetise their content. Today we are at the centre of AI’s transformation of the media industry, with intelligent tooling built into the product.

We are looking for a full-stack engineer who enjoys building across the whole stack — but who, above all, thinks about what they are building and for whom. You will work mostly on products to evolve or to build from scratch, with the freedom to take a feature from idea to release. In this role you will partner with AI to develop and support our products end to end, orchestrating models and agents across the delivery lifecycle — from writing and refactoring code to investigating and resolving customer issues. You will join our R&D; team, where our products are born:

Key Responsibilities
- Build across the whole stack, taking features from idea to release on products you evolve or create from scratch.
- Develop AI-first: orchestrate models and agents to draft, refactor, and explore, then review, correct, and decide. The models are fast and occasionally confidently wrong; your judgment is what makes the output trustworthy.
- Develop and support our products end to end, from writing and refactoring code to investigating and resolving customer issues in production.
- Contribute to design discussions and technical solutions, taking growing ownership of the areas you work on.
- Lean on automated CI/CD pipelines and treat testing as part of how you build, not an afterthought.
- Talk to customers and stakeholders to understand real needs and drive each feature from start to finish.
