Role Details
The HR advisor will be working with all HR functions to embed high performance working throughout the business and supporting and advising line managers to deliver business effectiveness through their people.
The Role
To support and deliver Accord's objectives through the following responsibilities, as well as further responsibilities that may arise.
Provide professional operational guidance to managers.
Liaise with the HR DIRECTOR as required on issues which may have significant risk, organisational implications, or where further clarification is required concerning policies/procedures where there are no clear precedents.
Work with the Resourcing team to support managers with recruitment.
Payroll
Provide guidance in the amendment/creation of job descriptions and support the preparation of hiring documentation.
Give advice regarding appropriate timing of referrals on employee health by liaising with Occupational Health and managers.
Support managers in meeting their objectives through the provision of effective, timely and accurate understanding of employment law, employee relations support and coaching and management information.
Co-ordinate the provision of employee related statistics to managers, such as headcount, sickness, and overtime.
Ensure compliance with all SOP's, health and safety legislation and associated codes of practice and company policies.
Other comparable tasks may be required, for which the employee will be provided with relevant training
The Person
Experience of providing HR generalist support and guidance.
Up to date and practical knowledge of UK employment legislation.
Plans and prioritizes tasks effectively, using tools to manage workload on an ongoing basis and adapt to changing demands.
Takes ownership of customer issues, follows through to resolution, and maintains a polite and helpful approach.
Promotes a positive team reputation, builds a friendly working environment, and actively contributes to team activities and collaboration.
Remains effective across varied situations, works well with different people, and embraces change when needed.
Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (written & spoken)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Success Factor and is a plus
Educational background
CIPD or equivalent
Degree in relevant field
Relevant experience as an HR Assistant or equivalent role
Comprehensive understanding of HR practice and disciplines
