Junior Software Application Engineer
to join its office in
Genoa
,
Turin
, or
Rome, La Spezia
(Italy) within the
Operating Engine
Division.Mission
We are currently looking for senior or entry?level candidates to join our teams in the aforementioned locations. The ideal candidate has a background in software development and a strong passion for building scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications. The Software Application Engineer focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications that align with our business needs. The role involves working closely with cross?functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers, to deliver high?quality solutions to our customers.
Key AccountabilitiesSoftware Development
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices.
Testing and Deployment
Write automated tests to ensure the quality of applications and enhance test coverage.
Debug the implemented application software.
Analyze and solve detected problems by implementing the needed corrections.
Documentation
Maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to the software applications.
Support and Maintenance
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.
Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Identify and propose improvements to existing software applications and development processes.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand?ups, and retrospectives.
Collaboration and Communication
Work collaboratively with cross?functional teams to deliver high?quality software applications.
Communicate technical concepts and ideas clearly to both technical and non?technical stakeholders.
Education




Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Master's Degree in Engineering General.
Qualifications
0/1 years of experience.
Academic knowledge of C/C++, C#.
Academic knowledge of requirements management and design tools (e.G., UML?based tools).
Academic knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Understanding of the software engineering life cycle and development best practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.G., Git).

Compensation Data
The salary range and job grade for this position are defined on the basis of objective, role?related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with
CCNL RINA
(CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range is between
€30,000 and €35,000
and will be finalized based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role. An annual variable compensation component is provided, based on company and individual performance objectives. The overall compensation package is complemented by the company's welfare program.
