We are seeking a Databricks Architect to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms using Databricks and related technologies. You will translate business requirements into scalable data architectures, drive best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization, and collaborate with engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities




- Design and implement scalable data platforms and architectures using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming workloads with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Define cluster sizing, configuration, and cost-control strategies; monitor and tune resource utilization.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, schema design, partitioning, and Delta Lake transaction management.
- Implement security, governance, and access controls (encryption, role-based access, Unity Catalog or equivalent).
- Create CI/CD processes and automation for notebooks, jobs, infrastructure-as-code, and deployments.
- Lead proof-of-concepts, evaluate new Databricks features (Delta Live Tables, Auto Loader, Photon, etc.), and recommend improvements.
