Its AI‑powered platform combines best‑in‑class data protection, exceptional data security, advanced data intelligence, and lightning‑fast recovery across any workload or cloud at the lowest TCO. /p pCommvault Professional Services help customers plan, design, implement, and maintain extraordinary information management platforms to simplify and secure backup and disaster recovery architecture and enhance the value of data. /p pAs the flagship role within the organization, the Solution Architect is expected to deliver a wide range of projects of all sizes and scopes, from small deployments or upgrades to large‑scale consulting and design engagements. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liEngage with customers to develop an understanding of their data and information management environment from a fresh, pragmatic perspective. /li liUse validated consultative methods to craft, implement, and/or remediate solutions relating to Modern Data Protection, Multi‑Cloud capability, Archive Compliance, Ransomware/Disaster Recovery, and Operational Improvement.
/li liInstall and configure Commvault hardware and software following the design specifications to meet the customer’s technical and business requirements. /li liAssess customer readiness to determine if all the technical pre‑requisites have been met to proceed with the next steps in a project. /li liPerform data migration tasks to transition the customer from the previous backup infrastructure to the new infrastructure. /li liInstall and configure backup agents to protect the customer’s applications, databases, and hypervisors. /li liWork with the customer and Commvault technical support and/or development to solve any technical issues blocking progress. /li liProvide daily updates on the progress and obstacles to the Project Manager for the deployment. /li liComplete required documentation associated with client projects in a timely fashion, including User Acceptance Test Plans and As‑Built Documentation. /li liStay up to date on the latest methodologies to ensure the smoothest possible project delivery. /li liAssist/Work in collaboration with Technical Architect from regional theatres for our global customers. /li liEnsure customer happiness throughout client engagements. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liExcellent communication etiquette, including strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills. /li liExperience in Technical Support, Professional Services, Managed Services,
or Administration of enterprise backup and recovery software, with hands‑on Commvault experience. /li liIdeally with Advanced Commvault Certification (Solutions Architect, Engineer, Master). /li liStrong knowledge experience of Networking, Storage, and Linux Operating System. /li liProficiency with TCP/IP networking, SCSI, iSCSI, or Fibre Channel. /li liCommvault implementation and troubleshooting experience. /li liProficiency with backup and recovery of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams). /li liProficiency with backup and recovery of databases (Oracle, SAP/Oracle, SAP HANA). /li liHands‑on experience with object storage (AWS S3, NetApp StorageGRID), data archive and search, private cloud (VMware, Hyper‑V), and public cloud (AWS, Azure). /li liProficiency with Linux scripting. /li liWithin commutable distance to Rome. /li liFluent Italian and English language skills. /li /ul pCommvault is an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
