- Location: Torino (Corso Castelfidardo 36). No relocation support; candidates must be able to work on-site in Turin
- Python programming skills are mandatory — applications without demonstrable Python experience will not be considered

Job Description
We are looking for 4 students willing to join an internship program within Dumarey Automotive Italia focused on turning advanced AI into practical IT tools supporting industrial processes.
You will work in a dynamic team that values smart solutions, fast execution, and a proactive mindset. The internship offers the opportunity to apply cutting-edge AI technologies to real industrial challenges, combining experimentation with tangible impact.
Workplace: Corso Castelfidardo 36, Torino – max 50% remote
Internship reimbursement: 600€/month (thesis/curricular internship) - 800€/month (postgraduate internship)
Projects – High-Level Overview
The internship will focus on the application of advanced AI technologies to industrial environments, with two main streams:
Computer Vision for Industrial Processes
- Design and develop AI-based tools to deal with topics similar to the following:
- Defects on production lines
- Issues at the end of testing activities
- Incorrect assembly of components in complex systems
- Work under realistic industrial constraints such as variable lighting, high throughput, and heterogeneous data sources
- Contribute to the development of scalable and deployable solutions that can be integrated into operational workflows
Agentic AI for Process Automation
- Explore and implement Agentic AI solutions to automate and optimise processes across:
- Engineering domains (e.g. design validation, documentation analysis, test result interpretation)
- Non-engineering domains (e.g. workflow automation, knowledge retrieval, decision support tools)
- Develop AI agents capable of interacting with systems, APIs, and datasets to execute multi-step tasks autonomously
- Contribute to transforming AI capabilities into usable tools for internal stakeholders
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the design and development of AI-driven applications addressing real industrial use cases
- Support the creation of scalable tools and prototypes using state-of-the-art AI techniques
- Participate in the end-to-end lifecycle : from data preparation and model experimentation to integration into usable applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, engineering, operations) to ensure solutions provide real business value
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related fields
- Programming skills in Python (mandatory)
- Previous experience in:
- Machine learning and/or computer vision projects
- or
- Development of solutions using LLMs via APIs
- Knowledge of data handling, model training, or AI application development
- Interest in applying AI to real-world industrial problems
- Proactive mindset, autonomy, and strong collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
