ppDesign, develop and test advanced airborne and spaceborne radar sensors, with hands‑on exposure to RF/microwave engineering, system integration and real‑world sensing applications! /p pOur client is a specialist radar and remote sensing company based in Milan, Italy, developing advanced radar sensors for airborne, drone‑based and spaceborne applications. Their work sits across Earth Observation, commercial, defence and security markets, with projects involving high‑frequency radar systems across multiple bands. /p pThey are looking for a Radar System Engineer to support the design, development, integration and testing of radar sensors for both airborne and spaceborne platforms. This is a hands‑on technical role suited to someone who understands radar systems, RF/microwave engineering and the practical challenges of taking complex technology from concept through to delivery. /p pAs a Radar System Engineer, you will be involved in radar design, system engineering, performance analysis, integration and test. You will also contribute to technical documentation covering system design, integration activities and test results, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across RF, microwave, hardware and wider system development. /p h3The ideal Radar System Engineer will have:
/h3 ul liStrong knowledge of radar system principles /li liA solid understanding of RF and microwave engineering /li liExperience with microwave/RF components such as LNAs, filters, amplifiers, mixers, downconverters or transmit/receive modules /li liAn understanding of wave propagation and core RF/microwave theory /li liExperience across the design lifecycle, from concept through to delivery, integration, testing and support /li liThe ability to break down complex technical problems logically /li liGood communication skills and fluency in English /li liEligibility to work in the EU /li /ul pExperience in radar systems, RF systems, microwave engineering or a closely related field would be ideal, although the client is most interested in candidates with strong technical fundamentals and relevant hands‑on exposure. /p pThis Radar System Engineer role is worth considering if you want to work close to real radar technology rather than sitting in a narrow, isolated engineering function. You will gain exposure to airborne and spaceborne radar systems, high‑frequency RF/microwave design challenges and the full development cycle of advanced sensing technology. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
