A truly exciting time to join us.About the RoleAs a Junior Embedded Software & Cybersecurity Engineer, you will contribute to the development of secure embedded systems for railway fire detection and protection applications in safety-critical environments.You will work closely with a senior embedded engineer with extensive experience in railway systems, TCMS communication, and cybersecurity, gaining strong hands?on exposure and structured technical mentorship.The role combines embedded software development with cybersecurity engineering, focusing on:Embedded cybersecurity implementation on Renesas microcontrollers with ThreadX RTOS, aligned with IEC/EN *********Secure railway system integration, including onboard TCMS communication using TRDP and related protocolsYou will collaborate with R&D;, systems, validation, and cybersecurity teams across the full product lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport implementation of cybersecurity functions in embedded RTOS-based systemsAssist in secure communication, authentication, and system integrity mechanismsContribute to software testing, debugging,



and verification activitiesHelp implement cybersecurity requirements aligned with IEC/EN *********Support documentation, configuration management, and technical reportingParticipate in system integration, troubleshooting, and lab testingAnalyze communication protocols and onboard network architecturesRequirementsEducationDegree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.Technical SkillsBasic C programming for embedded systemsUnderstanding of microcontrollers and embedded architecturesFundamentals of RTOS, TCP/IP, and embedded communication protocolsInterest in cybersecurity principles (authentication, secure communication, integrity, secure development)Soft SkillsAnalytical and structured problem?solving mindsetClear communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teamsStrong motivation to learn and develop technical expertiseNice to HaveExposure to ThreadX or other RTOS environmentsFamiliarity with industrial or railway communication systemsAwareness of IEC/EN ***** or similar cybersecurity standardsExperience with Git/SVNBasic use of debugging tools (oscilloscope, protocol analyzers, etc.)Interest in safety?critical or railway systemsWho We're Looking ForA motivated junior engineer eager to build deep expertise in embedded cybersecurity and railway systems.
