Position DetailsPosition Type: Substitute / Substitute - Support StaffDate Posted: 9/3/2025Location: Administration Building - SACSDate Available: OngoingTerms of EmploymentHours and location will vary based on district needs.PurposeTo provide assessment, screening, planning, intervention, evaluation, counseling, management and/or referrals concerning the health and medical care needs of students for the purpose of minimizing absences due to illness, maximizing educational opportunities and creating a healthy school climate.
This includes but is not limited to:Provide first aid care for injuries and illnesses.Dispense and document school time medications/treatments/procedures.Ongoing communication about particular student health care needs.Document clinic visits/care per protocol.Assist with office functions as necessary.QualificationsCurrent RN license in the state of Indiana.
School Nurse and/or public health experience preferred.
