ph3Position Description /h3 pCGI is actively seeking a Senior AI/ML and Emerging Tech Expert to join our Emerging Technologies Practice and lead the design and delivery of AI driven applications across our Federal Portfolio. You will work end to end—from proofs of concept to production—partnering with solution architects, data scientists, and engineering teams to turn ideas into scalable, secure solutions. This role blends full stack engineering with modern AI/ML, integrating generative AI and advanced analytics within Azure, AWS, and GCP to achieve tangible business outcomes. CGI utilizes a hybrid model and CGI partners should be prepared to work in a local CGI Federal office or client site, as needed. /p h3Your future duties and responsibilities /h3 ul liAI/ML Solutioning Delivery /li liDesign, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions and generative AI applications; architect complex AI pipelines. /li liHarness large datasets; conduct data mining/analysis; design algorithms and simulations; optimize models for real world performance and cost. /li liFull Stack Engineering /li liImplement front end (HTML/CSS/JavaScript; React or Angular) and back end services (Python/Flask/Django; Node.js; Java) that integrate AI capabilities. /li liDevelop robust APIs and microservices; ensure seamless functionality and exceptional UX across platforms. /li liCloud DevSecOps /li liDeliver against strategic roadmaps for AI and Analytics architectures across Azure, AWS, GCP. /li liPackage and deploy via containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); automate CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab) and IaC (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation). /li liEstablish best practices and patterns for AI analytics; implement monitoring, observability, and model governance. /li liGraph Database Development /li liDesign, implement, and optimize GraphDB solutions (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune) for AI-driven applications. /li liIntegrate graph-based data models into AI pipelines for knowledge graphs, entity relationships, and semantic search. /li liCollaboration Client Engagement /li liWork closely with data scientists and software engineers to integrate AI into enterprise systems. /li liCoordinate with client and engineering teams to build, monitor, and maintain solutions. /li liSupport client development opportunities and contribute to thought leadership and demos/POCs /li /ul h3Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role /h3 ul liUS Citizenship is required per contract /li liAbility to obtain a Secret clearance /li liEducation /li liBachelor's and 8 yrs exp required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning, related field. /li liExperience /li li5+ years designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML or advanced software solutions. /li liProven experience designing and integrating AI/GenAI into products and enterprise applications.



/li liDemonstrated success delivering full stack solutions that embed AI capabilities. /li liHands‑on experience with GraphDB engineering and development (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or similar). /li liTechnical Skills /li liProgramming: Python (expert) plus Java /li liML/Deep Learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch; model training, tuning, serving, and monitoring. /li liGenerative AI: hands on with LLMs; prompt engineering; fine tuning; RAG patterns; vector databases. /li liWeb APIs: HTML/CSS/JS; React or Angular; Node.js/Python/Java back ends; REST/GraphQL. /li liDevOps/MLOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation; CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab/Bitbucket; testing frameworks; package managers. /li liCloud: Production experience on Azure, AWS, and GCP. /li liData: SQL and NoSQL databases; GraphDB; data pipelines; feature stores. /li liProfessional /li liExcellent problem solving, verbal and written communication. /li liAbility to work independently and within agile teams. /li liStrong collaboration skills across cross functional stakeholders /li /ul h3Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required /h3 ul liAdvanced degree (Master with 6 years exp /PhD with 3 years exp) in AI/ML or related field. /li liCertifications in Azure/AWS/GCP; Kubernetes, Terraform, or ML specific certifications are a plus. /li liDeep proficiency in Generative AI, including RAG, LLM orchestration frameworks, and model lifecycle governance. /li liPortfolio of successful AI projects; evidence of thought leadership (POCs, publications, OSS contributions). /li liFamiliarity with federal sector standards (e.g., secure SDLC, data governance, compliance frameworks) and industry AI use cases. /li liStrong client facing skills: solution storytelling, demos, and executive level presentations /li /ul pCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
