In this Mechanical Engineer role, you design and coordinate HVAC and cooling systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, energy-efficient solutions that support critical infrastructure. You'll handle load calculations, equipment sizing, and system schematics with a focus on scalable, phased expansions. This role offers hands-on design experience in high-stakes environments and exposure to cutting-edge data center cooling technologies. You will contribute to integrated, cross-discipline projects that shape resilient, sustainable buildings. Retribuzione / Benefits * Support design of HVAC and heat rejection systems for data centers and mission-critical environments, considering loads, redundancy, phased expansion, airflow, humidity, and energy efficiency * Contribute to selection and layout of cooling solutions (CRAH/CRAC, chilled water, DX, in-row cooling, fan walls, containment) based on project requirements * Perform cooling/heating load calculations using industry tools under supervision * Assist in designing chilled water plants, precision cooling, and mechanical ventilation including preliminary sizing and component selection * Prepare and support development of drawings, specifications, calculation notes, and reports in English * Develop HVAC schematics, basic system architectures, single-line diagrams,



and P&IDs; for mechanical systems * Support HVAC system modeling in Revit, coordinate with other disciplines, assist clash detection using Revit/Navisworks * Collaborate with electrical, architectural, and structural teams for integrated designs * Stay updated on data center cooling technologies, HVAC best practices, and international standards Responsabilità * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering * Approx. 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC/mechanical design for buildings, industrial, or critical facilities * Exposure to data center, mission-critical, or high-reliability HVAC systems * Familiarity with chillers, cooling plants, and thermal load calculations; ASHRAE standards * Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or mechanical calculation software * Working knowledge of Revit for HVAC modeling * Familiarity with data center design guidelines (Uptime Institute, TIA?942, ANSI/BICSI) * Experience with installation or commissioning phases of HVAC systems * Basic understanding of control strategies and sequences of operation * Awareness of energy efficiency and sustainability principles * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams * Strong English communication skills * Certifications in data center, energy, or sustainability are a plus Requisiti fondamentali * Hybrid work * Meal vouchers * Health insurance * Gym memberships * Laptop and smartphone * Pension savings plan #J-*****-Ljbffr
