Overview

As a Java UI Developer, you will help evolve the Java-based client infrastructure for Simcenter STAR-CCM+ by partnering with Core Framework teams. You will craft robust, modular UI solutions, implement features, and contribute to a shared codebase used by hundreds of developers. You’ll work across UI and API layers, emphasize user experience, and participate in peer reviews and automated testing. This role combines technical depth with collaboration in a hybrid, global environment and offers impactful work shaping physics simulation tools.

Responsibilities

- Degree or commensurate experience in computer science, engineering or mathematics with 3+ years in software design and development
- Strong Java knowledge with modern features
- Experience developing Java clients using Swing/NetBeans or similar framework
- Experience with large-scale datasets and performance/quality requirements
- Experience handling large legacy code bases
- Proficiency with Git and distributed version control
- Proficiency with Jira or equivalent issue tracking
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues
