PV Project Manager - Italy

ppFor our Italian branch, with HQ in Milan, we are looking for a Project Manager in charge of leading the delivery of solar farm projects. This will primarily involve taking projects through the tendering, pre‑construction and construction phases. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liManage solar farm projects on behalf of clients, acting as Owner’s Engineer/Project Manager. /li liManage project budgets and schedules, including use of MS Project or similar industry standard software. /li liAssess, review and report on project spend throughout the project. /li liMaintain project risk registers, action trackers, change logs, etc. /li liManage GDS’s project team, typically including colleagues from across project management, electrical engineering, civil engineering, site engineering, and HS safety departments. /li liCarry out and maintain a strong understanding of the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) or Principal Designer (PD) role. /li liPrepare Employer’s Requirements and other technical documents for inclusion in construction contracts, including: Solar EPC contract, Balance of Plant (BoP)/Independent Connection Provider (ICP) contracts. /li liSupport the team with planning condition discharge.



/li liSupport the team in obtaining relevant project consents, permits and licences such as CRU licence, road opening licences, felling licences, etc. /li liLiaise with distribution and transmission system operators regarding grid connection contracts and delivery on behalf of clients. /li liNegotiate EPC contract on behalf of clients, liaising with client’s project team, legal and financial advisors. /li liAdminister construction contracts. /li liManage construction meetings both on site and remotely. /li liManage construction interfaces between contractors and other project stakeholders. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pMaster’s degree in engineering or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience managing construction projects with medium to large size projects (preferably in the energy sector). Experience in Contract, Risk and Procurement Management. Consolidated knowledge in planning software (Project, Primavera, etc.). Knowledge of HSE Quality Management. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, strong leadership. Ability to work in multicultural teams. Fluent in English and Italian (French is a plus). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
